The Vaudeville Origins
Vaudeville the Show developed from a night of ambient entertainment started back in 2015 at Bordel Chicago. Sally and AJ met whilst performing there, and quickly realized that they could combine their complimentary skill sets and developed new talents as a team to create a uniquely modern show that classily walked the razors edge between sexy, magical, and weird. Once a microphone was introduced, and they figured out where the light switches were; all hope was lost.
Vaudeville the Show is a nonstop flurry of sultry burlesque, modern sideshow, fun audience partipation, and world-class magic. Vaudeville was voted one of the hottest burlesque shows in Chicago by the Thrillist. The production was also featured in WOW air‘s magazine for international travel.
Chicago’s Pain Proof Pin-up
Internationally recognized, Sally Marvel is a Chicago-based sideshow and burlesque performer and producer. She is 1 of approximately 50 known female sword swallowers world wide! Her vast talents expand death defying stunts, pain proof rituals, and alluring burlesque. She has appeared on National Television, toured extensively across the word, and produces several shows through out the midwest; but none more important than Vaudeville.
Chicago’s Best Magician 3 Years Running
AJ Le Sacc
AJ changes his stage name once every 2 years or so just to keep himself under the radar of greatness. AJ cut his teeth in performance at hip-hop open mics, opening up for bands touring the country, and street performing across Europe. He developed his sideshow presence in order to gain the attention of the rowdy audiences that were less than enthused to see a magician. He regularly travels world wide to do card tricks at high-end corporate events and also entertains large crowds of children at festivals and schools. Magic is his business, Vaudeville is his love.
